Welcome to the University of Sydney Kendo Club. Our Kendo club prides itself being a prominent establishment in Australia's first university, under Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness.

Formed in 2004, our club continues to grow and improve in both size and skills.

Following the success and growth of our club in Kendo traditions and innovation, USYD Kendo Club excels in our training programs and in the field of competitive sport and martial arts.

Kendo-BBQ
Our Events Co-ordinator, Derek Chu, cordially members of USYD Kendo for a BBQ at Bicentennial Park, Homebush Bay.
Time: From 10am to approximately 4-5pm depending on how long food lasts and how everyone feels on the day (Whether they want to hang around more or not)

Food: Open to suggestion. Note: If you have any allergies or dietary concerns, be sure to contact Derek promptly. Suggestions will be accepted up till 15th of July

Entertainment: Sports, and any other outdoor activities. Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Fee's & RSVP: Everyone attending will be chipping in $10 for food costs. RSVP by 12th July to Derek via email (hms_lonewolf@hotmail.com).

If there are any concerns, email Derek and he will set you up.

Upcoming Holiday Training
After this week, training on Mondays will not be on for 2 weeks untill the 27th July, which is the beginning of Semester 2.
Training will during this period for Fridays will be at Peter Forsyth Auditorium on the 17th & 24th July, 3 - 5pm. Furthermore, training on the 10th of July will not be held, as there is a booking for HK ward already in place for a Volleyball competition.

NSWKA Membership Fees
Jinny, our Vice President, is going to be collecting the membership fees for NSWKA on Monday, 30th June by the latest. Walter will be receiving the money tomorrow on Saturday training for those who are going. Payment will still be received after 30th June, but you won't be eligible for the discount of $10, thus having to pay the full $80.

If you're currently not in sydney, you are able to wire the money directly to NSWKA account and give Jinny the forms later. Note: You are required to join NSWKA if you want to grade & compete in the upcoming founders cup & State championships.

For information regarding NSWKA's account, contact either Jinny, myself or any other of the executives to find out. Cheers.

There is no training on 10th of April (Friday) and 13th of April (Monday) due to the Easter Holiday. However, there is still a training on 11th of April (Saturday). Happy Easter.

Attention all new joining members!!!

There will be no Monday training until the 4th week of the semester, ie. 23rd of March.

There will still be however, Friday and Saturday trianings for you guys to try out unti (please check the calender in the Timetable section for more details).

The USYD KENDO CLUB Beginners Course officially starts on the 20th of March... If you are not to attend a session until then please contact me at president@usydkendo.com.

possible, the original deadline was today but i asked for an extension
but i don't know the new deadline so please reply immediately.

It is preferrable if you have a team of 3 organised already but if you
don't that's ok i'll see if i can organise teams, but please email me

The forums would be a good way to get together and create teams
